Hey there fellas,
Sunday I had some coffee to have a 15 hour workday to meet an important deadline. I normally don’t drink coffee, Alex Becker says it’s bad. (Read my Nightmare Mode article to learn more about who Becker is, he helped me learn true focus). Monday, I really couldn’t get anything done while the coffee left my system. I’m sweating the caffeine out; in the meanwhile, I decided to organize how I’ll proceed to live for the foreseeable month.
I’ll have a set of operating principles called behavioral guidelines:
I. Daily routine (mandatory parts are highlighted in bold): (a) Wake Up and put blockers on, (b) Create JS Questions for 30 minutes (c) Bill exactly 8 hours (or more), but consider the day a success if I just bill 3 hours, (d) Exercise (e) Obligatory Plow Position 5 minutes, (f) Stretch routine, (g) Clean, (h) Tim Ferriss Apple Cider Honey Drink, (i) Sleep.
Here are my outcome goals:
- Outcome Goal One: Finish becoming an official translator for a published programming book “Dive into Design Patterns” by Alex Shvets.
- Outcome Goal Two: Follow an extremely disciplined routine until this is done.
So for the forseeable few weeks, my prime focus would be on completing my official translation for Dive into Design Patterns. They say success doesn’t happen in an exponential manner until you put 90%+ of your effort into one thing. I’ll focus on this one thing, and really do some deep studying about Design Patterns while I translate the book.
I will try to outsource as many things as possible. My English teaching website continues to be built. Just so you guys know, there’s a medium writer by the name “Dalia” and we have a friendly bet going to see who reaches $20,000 in earnings first. By the time I’m finished translating this book, I should be at around $8-10k. I’ll try to get there before the 2nd week of June.
I’m still sweating the coffee out, I really feel like shit. So I’ll go clean my entire house, do some laundry, and prepare to become an official translator of this programming book!
